The Wedding of Sara and Chuck
Chuck and I were married June 7th, 2008 at Aspen Hall Manor in Harrodsburg, Ky. It was a beautiful, HOT day. We were joined by about 75 family members and friends. It was everything we could have imagined and we are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together.

The following are some of my favorite pro pictures by Daniel Canales. Daniel got there as we all were begining to get dressed and stayed up until the last major moments of the reception. I was more than satisfied with his work. I love the eye he has for catching those lil moments. He did a great job of capturing the feel of our day.

My aunt read an "Apache Marriage Blessing". She aslo surprised me by reading a letter my Mom had written. My Mom worte a letter as if if was coming from my Dad, whom is deceased. This had myself and everyone in the audience in tears, including Allen.
"Apache Marriage Blessing"
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be the shelter for each other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be the warmth of the other. Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before. Go now to your dwelling place to enter into the days of your life together. And may your days be good and long upon the earth.
Treat yourselves and each other with respect, and remind yourselves often of what brought you together. Give the highest priority to the tenderness, gentleness, and kindness that your connection deserves. When frustration, difficulty and fear assail your relationship - as they threaten all relationships at one time or another - remember to focus on what is right between you, not only the part which seems wrong. In this way, you can ride out the storms when clouds hide the face of the sun in your lives - remembering that even if you lose sight of it for a moment, the sun is still there. And if each of you takes responsibility for the quality of your life together, it will be marked by abundance and delight.
Letter from My Dad (Mom)
Dear Sara,
Your Mom is speaking for me since I can only be here in spirit today. First let me say from the day you were born, I have loved you with all my heart and been very proud of you. Yes, we had our ups and downs, but as your Mom always said, you are all Johnson, and thus like me.
As you take your vows today and wear your Mother's and my wedding bands, remember those bands have 40 years of love, compassion, understanding, concessions, and sharing a wonderful life together. Marriage is not easy, but by trying to control your temper, which you couldn't do on the ball court, it can and will last.
Chuck, take care of my little girl and know I will always be watching. I feel Sara has chosen well. I saw what a good man you are by observing you with your son and knew you would love and care for our daughter.
To both of you, live long, laugh often and always consider your partner in all decisions you make.
Lighting the unity candles (thats my uncles big head in the way lol) and The kiss (look at hubby's feet, he was on his tippy toes and I wasn't even wearing heels!)
We walked back down the aisle to "Ob la Di" by the Beatles. Everyone loved it!
Getting her for not telling me about the letter.
Having a heart to heart after Allen took a tumble down the stairs.

Mr. & Mrs. C****!!!!!
Cheers!
Not one picture of us sitting together at the sweetheart table. We both were all over the place the whole reception.
Time for cake!
This was me saying "Be Nice". Well, he was until I shoved cake in his face and this is what happened...
I was digging black icing out of my nose for 4 days!
All cleaned up
We danced our first dance to Kenny Chesney's "You Had Me From Hello" because we have been in love since the day we met.
Chuck danced with his Mom (left) to Rascall Flatts' "My Wish". Chuck also danced with my Mom for a special dance. They are very close and love to be goofy together. As a surprise to her, they danced to Rolling Stones' "Honky Tonk Woman", an old favorite of my Dad's.
I'm a picture freak, so of course I had to take pictures of things myself.
He had trouble buttoning his pants all day. This was taken when he walked in the middle of the reception and his pants had fell down. He quickly pulled them up and was so embarrassed but it made for such a cute picture.
Another of of my favs of my honey. He was out on the back porch of the mansion, where most of the partying was (could have been cause thats were the kegs were located). Here he is with his first of many White Russians.
